Convo with Ramila Ben & Haresh Bhai from Sandhosi village, Banaskantha, Gujarat

In this segment of "Sustainable Change at the bottom of Pyramid" we bring to you some very powerful stories of simple and hardworking people at the bottom of the pyramid. Sharing the eleventh video of the series in association with "CInI- Collective for Integrated Livelihoods Initiative" who have been successfully running the "Lakhpati Kisan" program within tribal communities of India. Today, we are talking to Ramila ben and Haresh bhai from Sandhosi Village, Banaskantha district in Gujarat. They used to cultivate wheat and maize, through which the earnings were less. Now they own a polyhouse through which they supply top quality saplings to the farmers in their district. The saplings from this polyhouse are healthier and of better quality leading to better productivity for the farmers. Their income has increased from INR 45,000 to INR 250,000 annually with the polyhouse and other farming activities. Both of them are grateful and feel lucky to join the program by CInI and Viksat foundation and urge others to do so too.
