In this segment of "Sustainable Change at the bottom of Pyramid" we bring to you some very powerful stories of simple and hardworking people at the bottom of the pyramid. Sharing the fifth video of the series in association with "CInI- Collective for Integrated Livelihoods Initiative" who have been successfully running the "Lakhpati Kisan" program within tribal communities of India. Today, we are in conversation with Bharat bhai and Kamla ben from Rama Village, Dahod district in Gujarat who are a part of the #lakhpatikisan program. When they enrolled to the program around 2015 their annual income was merely INR 37,000 whereas now it has grown to INR 250,000. The Sadguru Foundation helped them with livestock, various trainings, material for farming and better irrigation facilities. Because of this increased income, they could build a proper stable house for themselves instead of the temporary clay hut they used to stay in before. This has improved their standard of living and made them capable enough to help out others in their village. Watch the story of Bharat bhai becoming "Bhai" to "Saheb" in this short video.
